The Tetris Art Generator is a simple tool that creates unique art using the iconic shapes from the game of Tetris. Use the controls to play with different palettes, colors, and patterns, then save your own unique image and image receipt. Every image you make is a one-of-a-kind - and be sure to save your image receipt with all of your meta and creation data. It saves as png or svg, and you can make as many as you want. Go bold, go bananas.
This app takes the pixels of your uploaded image, rearranges them based on a selected color property, and then orders them into a new, grid-based image. The result is a unique piece of abstract art derived from the color palette of your original picture. The idea was born from wondering what album art would look like as a rearranged color profile, basically how much black is in Dark Side of the Moon exactly, anyway? Take it one step further and push the make movie button to get a 2-30 second downloadable modulated video clip of your image clustered art.
